All welcome to attend
This meeting will include an update on the festival, a chance to come along to share ideas, a chance for groups who are participating in the festival to come along and talk about what they will be doing at the festival.
Volunteers – if you’re interested in volunteering please also come along as we will be discussing what is available or you may have something in mind that you would like to offer.
Liability Insurance for Participants
We will be taking out Liability Insurance with Ridge Insurance.
I have had a meeting with Graham Elliot regarding the festival’s insurance and also insurance for participants. If you do not have Liability Insurance and wish to participate, please just contact me.
Promotion & Poster Distribution
As you may already know, we have been successful with our funding grant application, and we have also had donations for Labour Councillors Colin Waude and David Wilcox.
The bank account for the festival is up and running, so once the money has been cleared I will contact the printers.
I will be putting posters up in Glossop. I am also looking for volunteers to put posters up in other areas.
I have already done a great deal of promotion for the festival; now that the festival is approaching I am calling on others to aid me with this promotion so we can reach a vast range of people who would benefit from and or enjoy the event.

Information for all Participants – Please Read
All stands and stalls will need to bring their own table & chairs and gazebo for shelter. If anyone has any extra gazebos, tables, or chairs please bring them along.
For your ease on the day, I will be allocating times of arrival to enable you time and space to set up, rather than all arriving at the same time.
There is a car park situated at the end of Chapel Street for drivers to leave their cars afterwards. Luckily, the car park is very close by; we will direct you to where it is on the day.
Please read this page for more detailed information.
Community Picnic in George Street Woods
Sunday 9th June at 12 noon
Anyone welcome – please bring along your own food and drink and something to sit on. The picnic will be followed by drinks at the Globe.
Let’s not let the weather put us off; if it is raining, we will meet at the Globe instead.
The woods are situated and accessed from the back of the Central Methodist Church car park.
